I started the morning by arrving to Siam Square via bus no 15 (pay 7 baht) from the guesthouse. It was early and after breakfast, I went to Wat Sapathum.

Wat Sapathum makes a peaceful place, sandwiched between Siam Paragon and Central Plaza and located in one of the busiest street in Bangkok.

Ajahn Mun, the famous forest teacher who revived the Thai Buddhist forest tradition, once stayed in this wat. It was mentioned that at this Wat, Ajahn Mun composed the poem “The Ballad of Liberation from the Khandas).”

I really like the shrine hall- when this photo was taken, I travelled alone. So I remember sitting here quietly for about an hour. Found peace here within the city. The rest of the day, I went for a lot of walking.
