One of my favourite Thai snack is as below:
Clockwise- starting from the leaf:
- not sure if it is sireh leaf but my host plant it by the river and it is plucked fresh
- white plate consisting of minced ginger, garlic, lemon, small green chillies
- sliced ginger- fried
- the black sweet sauce
Take everything and put on the leaf- then fold it into triangle shape and put the entire thing into your mouth and enjoy! The mixture of sweet, hot, sour and crispy creates a unique blend. It does not take much cost to prepare but it’s delicious!
