Moshi Moshi (โมชิโมชิ) is a Japanese based concept store that is selling everyday Japanese products. I came across one of the outlets at Tesco and the cute cute items attracted me to go into the store to take a look.
It is quite similar with Daiso and Komonoya except that the standard pricing of their items is not 60 baht. Instead, the items starts from 20baht and the pricing differs for each item. In a way this is good because it enables the store to offer higher end products instead of being limited to a range of products where the cost cannot exceed 60 baht. At the same time, if the items are relatively inexpensive, then it is not priced at 60baht….but can start at just 20 baht.
There are the cute and cuddly soft toys which a young child, and even an adult would love…And do note that some of the toys are not only cute, they are also functional. They can be used as a small pillow or some enables you to open up into a soft blanket to keep you warm. Ideal to bring for travelling especially if you are travelling with children. This is shown in a YouTube video by a young YouTuber, Noot Scamander:
There are different type of cutesy stationery that are priced differently…
Food containers, water bottles and storage containers. I bought a 1 liter water bottle from Moshi Moshi which costs me 49 baht that came in my favourite colour tone. Now the water bottle sits at my bedside table where I fill up with water that I could drink when I am in my room.
There are also decorative items like artificial flower plants as per below. These plants are really beautiful and can be purchased to decorate the home….I do see a number of Japanese theme stores in Thailand selling these plants.
They also sell apparels like Tshirt, slippers, socks and inner wear. The quality of the items are good and comfortable.
There are backpacks, wallets and caps. Because Moshi Moshi is not pricing the items at a flat rate of 60 baht, it enables them to offer the ‘higher end’ products such as the backpacks below:
The ladies purse, handbags and tote bags also comes in nice designs and varieties:
Even though the store does not occupy a big space, there are surprisingly a large variety of items available which can be bought either as everyday use or as gifts for others.
