Currently I am learning the Thai language, both in reading and writing. And the most effective way to learn how to put sentences together is by listening to songs.
You can search for Thai songs with English subtitles to help you to learn Thai language…. may I say in a more romantic way. There are some playlists such as one I have done which you can also search and add the songs into your own playlist.
I’ve came across this very inspirational song sang by Bird Thongchai- one of the most popular singers in Thailand (he also sang the famous song Sabai Sabai (Easy Easy) evergreen song- this song can uplift your mood and make it more sabai sabai 🙂 .)
Here’s the song- the lyrics I’ve taken from this forum page and here I attached the video clip here:
I’ve also made 2 Shorts video featuring my photo collection taken in Thailand:
Part 1:
Part 2:
Chi Wit Li Kit Eng I’ll Decide My Life
gòn koie chêua nai lí-kìt fáa din bplòi chee-wít bpai dtaam chôhk chá dtaa
Before I use to believe in destiny I left my life up to the hands of fate
dtàe făn mâi koie tĕung fàng pìt wăng nai jai rêuay maa
But my dreams never became reality my heart always ends up disappointed
prór fáa mâi mee hŭa jai
Because the heavens don’t have a heart
jà leo rĕu dee man yòo têe kon
Good or bad, in the end it is up to the person
jà mee rĕu jon man yòo têe jai
To have it all or nothing, it’s up to the heart
din fáa mâi koie lí-kìt chee-wít jà bpen chên-rai
The heavens are never the ones to decide how your life will be
yàa loie yàa bpai tăam fáa
Don’t go, don’t go and ask the heavens
bin bpai hâi sŏong têe sòot yàang têe kít făn wái gàp jai
Fly up to the highest point Like how you dreamed with your heart
jà yâak yen tâo-rài bòk jai wâa jà mâi glua
No matter how hard it will be Tell your heart to not be afraid
mâi ror hâi fáa hâi din lí-kìt
Don’t wait for the heavens to decide
mâi bplòi chee-wít hâi pàan bpai
Don’t let your life pass you by
mâi wâa jà sŏong jà glai tâo-rài
No matter how high or how far
jà kwài jà kwáa jà fàa fan
I’ll climb and reach for my dreams
mâi yom hâi fáa rĕu krai lí-kìt
I won’t let the heavens or anyone else decide
yàak mee chee-wít têe fài făn
I want to have a life that I dreamed of
dtâng dtàe wan née nêe keu chee-wít lí-kìt kŏng rao
From today this is my life That I am making my own destiny ]
bprìap chee-wít bpen dang bòt lá-kon
Comparing life to that of the script of a drama
jà yom hâi krai kĭan bòt kŏng rao, chee-wít jà bpen chên-rai
If you let someone else write the script, how would our life be?
gôr kŏr hâi bpen prór rao rêuang raao têe rao dtông kĭan
I’ll ask that it be because of myself the things that I’ll have to write about
